What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
THe new technologies that I have used are things such as Adobe Premier Pro CS6, Adobe After Effects, Prezi, Blogger and Wix website creator.
One of the technologies that I had to learn to use was blogger, this was one of the most important ways of showing our work and progress as we learnt how do things such as embed presentations or videos onto the blog, making it easy to view them and its more efficient than having to click and follow a hyperlink. I also learnt how to change the design of the blog such as the font, title, background and layout.
Blogger
GarageBand
Another technology that i had to learn was GarageBand. Since we used used Apple Macs it meant that the best software for making music was garageband. I learnt how to get a sound effect and change the pitch and pace to fit the genre of our opening title sequence. I learnt how to layer each sound to create music. I learnt all of this from using it and playing around testing different effects and options. However I did also go onto Youtube and find tutorials teaching me how to get used to the interface and also how to use and find the correct sound effects to fit our sci fi genre of film.
Adobe Premier Pro CS6
Adobe Premier pro was one of the main peices of software that I used when it came to editing and creating the film. The techniques that i learned when I used this was cutting clips to make them the correct length as well as also using the razor tool to split up clips. Another was putting video effects (such as the posterize effect) on certain clips to create the effect of the character being out of reality. I also learned to add transitions such as the cross fade make clips merge together better. Finally i found out about the video effects that change the colour/contrast and used them to make certain clips have a different tint to others. I learned this from watching tutorials and also exploring the softwares interface.
Adobe After Effects

After effects was important when doing the titles for my film because it allowed me to be able to add effects to it such as the 'encoder fade out' effect or a glitch effect. I also learnt to use keyframes through tutorials, this meant that i could then animate the titles and make them move around. I learnt how to use this software so that i could create titles in a mopre effective way than just doing it on Adobe Premier Pro.
Prezi
After effects was important when doing the titles for my film because it allowed me to be able to add effects to it such as the 'encoder fade out' effect or a glitch effect. I also learnt to use keyframes through tutorials, this meant that i could then animate the titles and make them move around. I learnt how to use this software so that i could create titles in a mopre effective way than just doing it on Adobe Premier Pro.
I also used Prezi when creating my project, this was a presentation software that showed how i researched my work in an alternative way. I learnt to use this through just using it and looking through it working out how to animate it in such a way that you could zoom in or out to the next slide.
WIX: Website Creator
Finally WIX Website Creator helped with showing everything to do with my project. What i have learnt in the proccess of using WIX is that I can create a website and use things such as hyperlinks to navigate to other pages and also embed videos onto the page if i wanted to show a video. Then also change the designs of images to look as though they were stuck on with tape for example.
